Broadway Dancer Teaches Master Classes for All CDC Dancers

Christina SlatonChristina Slaton, recently off the 42nd Street Broadway national tour, will be teaching master classes at Charleston Dance Center on Saturday, July 15, 2017. The classes are $20 for one and $30 for two. Advance registration is not required.

Recommended for dancers age 5-11:
9:00 am – 10:00 am Beg/Int Broadway Jazz
10:00 am – 11:00 am Beg/Int Tap

Recommended for dancers age 12-18:
11:00 am – 12:00 pm Int/Adv Broadway Jazz
12:00 pm- 1:00 pm Int/Adv Tap

Broadway Jazz includes more acting and is more theatrical than a traditional jazz class held at Charleston Dance Center. Broadway Jazz is also iconic in that it is tied to certain plays or shows.

Christina Slaton is a Goose Creek native currently based out of Brooklyn, N.Y. and is a graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. Her regional credits include “Anything Goes” and “42nd Street” with The Arts Center of Coastal Carolina. Slaton has traveled internationally dancing on Holland America Line cruises and most recently has traveled the country with the Broadway National Tour of “42nd Street.”
