National Dance Honors Orlando was an incredible opportunity for Just Dance! Company! The studio earned Honored Program AND Honored Division, which was our goal! We also earned Honored Genre for Mini Jazz!
Honored Program means we had the highest combined score for routines in all four age groups and Honored Division means we had the highest combined score with all three divisions (small group, large group, line/production) combined. We chose not to enter the Best Studio competition.
In addition to competing, dancers are also participating in convention classes with some of the top dance faculty in the nation. Many Just Dancers earned the Honored Dancer designation during a regional event, so they were also able to compete for the title of Honored Dancer, as well as participate in the Crew, which performed during the Gala at the end of the event. Congratulations to Blais (mini) and Justice (senior) on being named Honored Dancer Finalists.
The following dances were selected to perform in the Gala: An Ending A Beginning, Over You, Blessed, Dead Hearts. Dead Hearts was the 2021 National Dance Honors Wild Card Winner.
Senior Company members Savannah, Caitlyn, and Justice earned ultimate platinum on their solos – the highest possible!
