Charleston Dance Center has proudly served the Lowcountry for 25+ years – and we’re just getting started. As home to the award-winning Just Dance! competition teams and one of Charleston’s longest-standing studios, CDC is your destination for elite training and a vibrant, supportive community.
We offer year-round programs for dancers ages 3 through 18 – from recreational classes to pre-professional training. Our main dance season runs August through June, with dynamic summer classes and camps to keep dancers moving and motivated.

Introducing CDC Youth Ballet
Auditions August 8
Charleston Dance Center Youth Ballet is a new performance company for dedicated dancers ages 8+. Under the artistic direction of Sarah Walborn, Principal Dancer with Palmetto City Ballet, dancers will receive high-level training and perform in two ballet productions throughout the season.
Fall Registration Is Now Open!
The 2026–2027 Fall Schedule features exciting new classes, returning favorites, and programs for dancers ages 2.5–18. Classes begin August 17th.
