In celebration of Charleston Dance Center’s 25th anniversary, we’re excited to shine a spotlight on Ellie Davis Fenwick, an alumna whose journey with dance has taken her from the CDC stage to global performances. Starting at CDC in 2000, Ellie’s passion and dedication led her from student to teacher, inspiring the next generation of dancers before embarking on new adventures in her personal and professional life. From dancing on a cruise ship to performing in the “Charleston Christmas Special,” Ellie’s story highlights the power of dance to open doors and create lasting memories. Her advice for future dancers is simple yet profound: “Focus, Practice, Be Respectful, and Have Fun!”

Alumni Spotlight: Taylor Zandi

As part of Charleston Dance Center’s 25-year celebration, we’re thrilled to spotlight alumna Taylor Zandi, a shining example of resilience and dedication. Dancing with CDC from 2003 to 2012, Taylor’s journey has come full circle as she now shares her passion with a new generation of dancers, including her own twin daughters. After a career in athletics, project management, and community service, Taylor returned to CDC to teach, bringing her spirit and love for dance back to where it all began.
