Advice for Younger Dancers: “Hard work and dedication pay off.”

Lessons Learned from Dance: Better work ethic, how to manage time even under tight schedules, and how to better prepare for important events.

Jenna Huser

Years at CDC: 11

Next Step: Wofford College – Business Major and member of the Dance Team!

Favorite Memory: Watching her team’s hard work pay off at Nationals her junior year.

Advice for Younger Dancers: “Focus on your personal improvement and continue trying to be a better version of yourself, not others. Trust yourself and trust the process.

Lessons Learned from Dance: Growth takes time, never take your experiences for granted, and if you look at difficult situations as an opportunity to learn, it is easier to push through and feel grateful versus resentment.

Audrey Isgett

Years at CDC: 2

Next Step: University of South Carolina – Nursing Major

Favorite Memory: Instantly feeling welcomed and supported at a brand-new studio.

Advice for Younger Dancers: “Always be supportive of your fellow dancers, and remember that everyone’s on their own journey. Celebrate each other!”

Lessons Learned from Dance: Discipline, the importance of collaboration, and time management.

Kassy Ladson

Years at CDC: 5

Next Step: University of South Carolina – Dance Performance Major

Favorite Memory: First day at Nationals in NYC — shopping and bonding with teammates.

Advice for Younger Dancers: “Always have fun. There are of course times when you need to be focused and serious, but letting loose and keeping a positive attitude helps you find more joy and love for dance.”

Lessons Learned from Dance: Keep an open mind, things will get touch, but you have to preserve, and brightening someone’s day will make your day even better.

Taylor Mastrosimone

Years at CDC: 16

Next Step: College of Charleston – Pre-P.A. Track

Favorite Memory: Noting it is “impossible to pick just one!” Taylor still laughs over her first summer dance camp, when she refused to perform until Mrs. Kim would go get my lip gloss from her mom. She also highlights the annual pre-recital traditions on stage!

Advice for Younger Dancers: “Live in the moment- it does by faster than you think!”

Lessons Learned from Dance: How to be a team player, staying dedicated, and how to have fun while working hard!

Reagan Ziebell

Years at CDC: 14

Next Step: Clemson University – Health Science Major

Favorite Memory: Dancing and singing backstage before the recital opening number.

Advice for Younger Dancers: “It goes by so quick, so enjoy every second and work to your fullest potential everyday. Take it all in.”

Lessons Learned from Dance: Discipline and time management, perseverance and resilience, and most importantly teamwork and communication.
